This definitive volume chronicles the life and career of Dr. Seuss.  It includes nearly 200 pages highlighting the common artistic link throughout Seuss’s life, from his early Horton drawings at Dartmouth College, through his editorial, advertising, military, and book illustrations, and finally his Secret Art collection.

This major monograph includes material from Dr. Seuss’s first retrospective museum exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Art - work kept privately in his own family archive, as well as material from the Dr. Seuss Archives at the University of California, San Diego.

Each slipcased book is individually numbered and accompanies a matching number serigraph of Dr. Seuss’s Singing Cats.  This matching book and graphic is essential to any Seuss collection and will prove to be a valueable and historic addition to Dr. Seuss’s already accomplished body of work.
